Instrumental Living was inspired by the founder Steve Lashley realising the unique pressures of modern life in the digital age that impact all areas of our lives. Inspired by a health and wellbeing practices from all over the world, Instrumental Living is grounded firmly in recognising that for many of us, our fast-paced daily lives are fundamentally reactive. Our principles and methods help bring you back to the moment, giving you time to make the right choices for you.

The three core principles all draw on elements of meditation, particularly focusing on the breath. However, Instrumental Living goes far beyond meditation through its response to, and emphasis on, the practical stresses of daily living, e.g. in your work, relationships, family, and health.

We find this is different for everyone, but most people feel a difference within the first session. The pace at which people learn, alongside your willingness to practice and apply the lessons will be an important factor, as will the unique circumstances of your life and the changes you are seeking to make.
